<p><img src="images/freeconcert.gif" alt="Free Members Concert" width="200" height="297" align="left" style="margin:5px;" />Durango Acoustic Music celebrates its 20th season with a free member's concert featuring Sarah Siskind and Travis Book at Ska Brewing World Headquarters in Bodo Park at 6pm on Tuesday, September 1st.</p> <p>Sarah is a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter whose songs have been covered by Alison Krauss, the Infamous Stringdusters and Bon Iver. Her latest album is entitled "Say It Louder."</p>

<p>Her husband &amp; local favorite, Travis Book, is bassist and lead singer of The Infamous Stringdusters and a former member of Durango's Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band.</p>

<p>The Stringdusters won IBMA awards for emerging artist of the year, song of the year, and album of the year in 2007. Travis has also performed locally with the Colorado Playboys and as a duo with dobro player Anders Beck. Book and Siskind have joined forces for a few select shows across Colorado leading up to their individual performances at the Four Corners Folk Festival in Pagosa Springs over Labor Day weekend. We're proud to share their collaborative talents with our DAM friends, members and sponsors. Come on down to Ska Brewing and help us celebrate two decades of bringing live music to Durango! The show is Saturday, September 1st at 6pm.</p>
<p><strong>Each current DAM member will be mailed two free tickets to the show, along with a DAM membership card that gets the member discounted draft beer at Carver's, Ska and Durango Brewing.</strong> The show will be $5 for non-members but remember, if you ARE a member, you'll get two tickets for free! Our 2009-2010 season started August 1st so if you haven't had time to re-up your yearly DAM membership now is the time! All the info you need for various member levels is available by visiting our "<a href="dammember.htm">become a DAM member</a>" page. Tickets for this show as well as new and renewing memberships may be purchased at Animas Trading Company, Canyon Music and Southwest Sound in Durango.</p>
